Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

Early in the morning you wake me and I have another day of life. Thank you for this precious gift. You not only give me life, but all the blessings I need to live a good life in your presence.

Bless me to have a great start to my week today, Lord. Give me the energy, focus, and intention I need to do good work and stay happy. Thank you for giving me a job I enjoy and do well.

Help those who are unable to escape the extreme heat, Father God. Bless them with a regulated temperature that keeps them comfortable and out of danger. Cool all who are too hot.

Your ways are holy and righteous. I submit to your will and your way in all that I think, say, and do. Thank you for loving me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
