Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

This was a rough morning for waking up. Thank you for opening my eyes today. Please cast away my sleepiness and give me the energy to seize the day and all that it holds.

Help me to have a happy and joyful day. Give me a full heart and opportunities to do good. Fill my day with purpose and help me to do your will throughout my day. Center me in your peace.

Bless the homeless, dear God. Give them shelter and homes where they can enter into your rest. Inspire and empower us engage in more compassionate action to end homelessness.

This day is your day, Lord. Do with it and me whatever you desire. You are the center of my joy and peace. Thank you for loving me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
