Are you there God it’s me...

After the miracle of a sound sleep, there is the miracle of waking. I am grateful for another day in the land of the living. You continue to bless me with just what I need. Give me this day my daily bread. Your mercies endure forever.

Bless me with balance this day Lord. Let me be able to focus on the task before me without losing sight of the bigger picture. Help me to add value to the day, for myself and others. Let the light you have given me shine bright wherever I go.

Bless those who are struggling with mental health issues dear Father. Regulate their minds, bodies, and spirits to function as intended. Guide them to the perfect people to provide medical and therapeutic care. Surround them with supportive friends and family. Show me how I can be a help to those going through this.

You alone are worthy of glory and honor. I’m filled with joy that we get to spend this time together, just the two of us. Allow me to spend more time in communion with you. There is no place I’d rather be. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
