Are you there God it’s me...

To wake up to birds chirping is a sweet reminder that you keep all of creation in your hands. Thank you for waking up me and the birds. I can already tell that today will be sweet. I thank you in advance for all the blessings you will shower me with this day.

Help me to be a better planner of my days. Give me an accurate sense of what I can accomplish in the time that I have. Let me maintain balance and a spirit of joy to my days. Help me to dedicate all that I do to you. Let my actions lift up Jesus for the world to see.

Bless those who are lonely dear Lord. Send your comforting presence to them. Remind them that you are always with them. Let them feel your constant companionship. Place me in situations where I may be a source of encouragement to the lonely. Help me to do a better job of staying in touch with friends and family.

I give thanks for your mercies which are new every morning. I’m overwhelmed by your great love for me. Let me dwell in your presence forever. Thank you for always being there when I call out to you. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
