Are you there God it’s me...

Thank you for waking me up with a smile on my lips. You continue to make my joy complete. Every morning you wake me up is a reminder that I still have work to do. Let me not grow weary, but do your work with the same delight I feel upon receiving another day.

Bless me with a pleasant demeanor. Teach me to be kind in the words that I speak. Help me to encourage others and to have a gentle and inspiring presence others want to be around. Let me be a positive reflection of you.

Step in and bolster those who are struggling with their faith. It can be so hard to wait on you, Lord. Give them the substance of things unseen and the evidence of things hoped for. Help their unbelief through your signs and wonders, so that they may strengthen their faith that you care for them and are working things out for their good.

Teach me how to pray. Let my words be pleasing in your sight. Help me to come to you and open up with my innermost thoughts. Thank you for always being their for me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
