Are you there God it’s me...

I’m here for my daily bread. You gave me everything I needed yesterday, and now that today is here, I know you will do it again. Great is thy faithfulness.

Thank you for helping me see that by putting my whole self into the task before me, however small, I get to meet you, continuing your mighty work of salvation. Teach me how to be fully present in whatever I am doing. Let me find meaning in my work.

Thank you for blessing me with friends and colleagues. Bless me to be a good friend in return. Let me sow attention and love into all of my relationships. Bless me so that the light you have given me may shine bright.

Bless the financially insecure. It as all to easy to get overwhelmed, especially in this pandemic. Give those in need enough resources to make it. Show me how I can help and give my the discernment to recognize those in need. We are all living by your grace.

Thank you for giving me all I have asked for, according to your will. Continue to transform me into what you would have me to be. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
