I am happy to greet you this morning. Thank you for giving my another day. Starting my day with you is the best feeling, as if we are beginning our work together.

Thank you for blessing me with the ability to work hard and productively. Lord make me useful today. Fill my plate with tasks and projects I find interesting and fulfilling.

Help me to be kinder in my words and actions. Guide me so that my interactions with others are inspiring and life-affirming. So often things don’t turn out as I meant for them to. Bless the impact of my words and deeds so that your will may be done.

Grant dear Lord that the world may recover from the pandemic. Especially bless the poorer nations and those places that have been particularly ravaged by COVID-19. Let the distribution of the vaccine be fair, smooth and speedy. Give us all a care and consideration for each other so that we may wear masks and take other actions that are needed.

Thank you for this time together. Our conversations bring me joy and peace. Help me discern your answers to my prayers. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
