The joy of the Lord is my strength!

I’m so happy to wake up this morning, even if I overslept a bit. Thank you for giving me this wonderful day to embrace. Your gifts are always the best ones and I wait on them.

Give me everything I need to make it through the day. Allow me to be fully present in the moment and put all of my effort into the task at hand. Help me be a blessing to someone in need.

Bless the pets of the world, dear Father. Give them long, healthy lives and sweet dispositions. Let them bring your light into the world and spark joy in their people.

You are the only one who gives true and lasting joy. Thank you for always remembering me and sticking by me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
