I am so grateful that you have seen me through the night and woken me up this morning, Lord. I love getting to spend unhurried time with you like I do on the weekends. Let’s play.

Help me to honor your Sabbath and spend time doing things that are pleasing in your sight. Let me enjoy this time of rest you have given me. Please help me with a sermon topic for next week.

Bless those who are in the midst of fighting and conflict, Lord. Guard their lives and safety with your mighty and outstretched hand. Bring peace and cooperation to all.

This is the day that you have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Help me to let the light you have given me to shine. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
