Come, Lord Jesus.

Last workday before Christmas! That’s all I can think about as I wake up this morning. I am enjoying this Advent season but I can’t wait to get to Christmas. It is all about You right now.

Help me to be fully present at work today, Lord. Let me focus on the tasks before me and be diligent in all I do. Grant that I may rest in You today and do only what You desire for me to do.

Bless those who have to work so much just to survive that they barely have time to live. Ease their burdens. Sweep a fresh wind of change into their lives and give them wholeness in You.

Have I mentioned it’s almost Christmas? Thank You for placing a joy in my heart the world can never take away. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
