Come, Lord Jesus.

I am so grateful You woke me up this morning. Sometimes I can’t get over how You hold life itself in Your hands. You give to me with such generosity and I say thank You for all Your blessings.

Help me to be fully present at work today. It is so hard to not be on permanent mental vacation this time of year. Help me to apply myself to the tasks at hand and allow me to be fruitful.

We have a storm and cold front coming across the US this weekend. Keep everyone safe, warm, and protected from the elements. Help us to care for the least of these among us.

I rejoice that you watch over all of creation. Thank you for caring for me even when I am a knucklehead. Your grace is sufficient. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
