Thank You, God.

Thank You for waking me up gently and ready for the day. I am so glad I have Your strength when I do Your will. You are the best friend and LORD I could ever have. Good morning.

Bless me to have the energy, attention, and flexibility to handle whatever comes today. Grant that things work out in my favor and give me Your hand to protect me from all harm.

Watch over and keep all of those fighting for freedom from bondage. Stand mighty and strong on the side of the oppressed. Break their chains and bring them to Your liberty.

I smile and am at ease when I remember that You are on my side. You do all things well, oh God. I give you thanks and praise. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
