Are you there God it’s me...

Once again you’ve woken me up and I thank you. As light streams into my room, I pray that’s your awareness breaks into my heart. Let me be filled with more and more of you. In you there is fullness of joy.

Thank you for loving me. You know everything about me, and your love is still from everlasting to everlasting. I have never been known so completely. Thank you for letting me be able to be myself with you.

Bless those who are incarcerated. You have told us to visit those who are imprisoned, but I am scared. Let your perfect love cast out my fears oh Lord. Help me to be obedient to your will and wise in my execution of it. All your ways are perfect Lord.

This is the day you have made God. Today we celebrate the resurrection of your only son Jesus Christ, the name above every other name. All praise, glory, and honor be to you! Thank you for hearing my prayers, even in the midst of a day that’s supposed to be all about you. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
