Are you there God it’s me...

Thank you for waking me up, even if I didn’t want to be up this early. I know you have something for me today and so I look forward to it, no matter the hour.

Keep me in your perfect peace today. As I seek to carry out my agenda, adjust my priorities so that your will, not my will be done. Make clear the path before me I am to walk this day. Give me this day my daily bread, for it is enough, and I believe you will meet me every day, so there is no need to hoard.

Teach me to have a generous spirit, to know that whatever you give me, there is enough to share. It is truly a blessing to be able to give and I thank you.

Lord bless the sick and shut in, however large or small their ailment. Bless those that are sick and tired of quarantining and being physically apart from others. Grant them peace and the joyous company of your presence. Heal those with broken hearts oh God, for you can restore the years the locusts have eaten.

Savior, savior, hear my humble cry. While on others though art calling, do not pass me by.

I thank you for always looking out for me and for answered prayers even before they form in my heart. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
