In Christ it is always “YES!”

My cat woke me up too early and I am irritated. Give me an appreciation for this new day You have allowed me to see. I am grateful that, even when I am annoyed, You soothe me.

Help me to bring my full energy and intention into this day, LORD God. I need Your help to be my best self and work productively, this and every day. Allow me to reflect You clearly.

Bless those who are lonely in the world, loving God. Let them feel You in their lives and know that they are never alone. Raise up people in their lives that will bring Your joy closer to them.

I am so happy that we get to spend the day together. Help me to stay connected to Your joy in all I do. Keep me near the cross. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
