Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

Thank you for this day. You woke me up and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me today. You always make the best plans. I submit to your ways and am so glad you’re in charge.

It’s Friday at last, Lord, and I give you thanks and praise for getting me through the week. Let this day be zippy and productive. Help me to complete my work and welcome the weekend.

Bless those who are grieving a loss, dear Father. Comfort and console them as only you can. Bring folks around them that offer support and understanding. Give them your peace.

You are a wonderful God and all your ways are holy. Teach me how to worship you in spirit and in truth. Thank you for your love. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
