Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

Another day has dawned and as always you are there to greet me. You give me life and life more abundantly. Thank you for never leaving or forsaking me. In you I have all I need.

Thank you for this day I have before me and I pray that you would help me to make the most of it. Guide me so that my will is aligned with yours. Allow me to be blessed and to be a blessing.

Bless those experiencing food scarcity and insecurity, dear Father. Give them all they need and grant them the peace of always knowing where their next meal is coming from.

All your ways are holy and always turn out better than my ways. I surrender to you and know it will be better than I could imagine. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
