Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

Thank you for gently waking me up this morning. I am so glad to begin the blessing of another day in your presence. You always give me exactly what I need.

Help me to enjoy being still today, Lord. Let me rest and abide in you. Let me receive all that you have for me. Grant me my daily bread and let me celebrate your goodness.

Bless the overworked and underpaid, dear God. Bless them to have relief from their labors and to receive more than enough. Help us build societies that are fairer to workers.

You continue to give me your joy to make mine complete and that is all I could ever want. Thank you for every good gift you give. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
