Lord, in your mercy hear my prayer.

It is a good morning, thanks to you. You woke me up to hear the birds chirping and see the brightness of day. Thank you for another day of life, health, and strength. Your care is constant.

Bless this day to be full of good things and experiences. Allow my work to bear good fruit and bring me satisfaction and growth. Sustain my energy and focus so that I will thrive in you.

Bless those grieving the loss of a loved one, dear Father. Let your Holy Spirit comfort them in their time of need. Bring them the consolation and lightness of heart that only you can.

Thank you for showing me you are God with the dawn of every new day. Your steadfast love of and care for me is amazing. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
