The joy of the Lord is my strength!

Thank you for this day and for waking me up peacefully to meet it. Thank you for covering every part of my life with your grace and mercy. I love how good and steadfast you are.

Help me to put my best self forward today. Let me give full energy and attention to the task at hand. Bless my work to bear good fruit. Grant that I may rest in you in all that I do.

Bless the pets of the world, loving Father. Let them live long healthy lives that are filled with delight. Allow them to be carriers and spreaders of your joy and love to all they meet.

Every day is a day of thanksgiving, even when I’m sleepy, because you are a loving and faithful God who always comes through. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
