The joy of the Lord is my strength!

This is a brand new day, pregnant with possibilities, and I am grateful. Thank you for having plans to prosper me and give me hope. Let me continue to grow by sitting at your feet.

Let this day go exactly as you have designed it. Guide my steps so that I may walk the path you have prepared. Prosper me in all that I do so that you may get the glory and praise.

Bless those affected by gun violence, Lord, especially the children. Receive those little ones into your kingdom and comfort their parents, siblings, and loved ones in their grief.

Let your will be done and your kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to live up to the best of our natures. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
