The joy of the Lord is my strength.

It is a beautiful morning and the birds are chirping. They remind me that you are Lord over all and I rejoice. If you watch over the sparrow, how much more will you care for me?

Bless this to be an excellent kickoff to the week, Father. Help me to have the energy and focus that I need to work effectively and produce good fruit in every area of my life.

Cover those whose lives are impacted by violence with your protection and healing. Let no hurt, harm, or danger overtake them. Heal them of any pain and trauma they have.

I can’t wait to see what this day that you have prepared has in store for me. Use me as an instrument of your peace. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
