The joy of the Lord is my strength!

Thank you for this new day, oh Lord. You always give the best gifts. Every morning your mercies are new and they sustain me through the ups and downs of life.

Bless me with good health, Father. Nip this cold in the bud and restore me to feeling good. Remove any discomfort or pain. Allow me to preach a good sermon this evening.

Bless those who are in harm’s way, dear God. Keep them safe from all hurt, harm, or danger. Let them feel the safety and confidence that comes from having you in their corner.

All your ways are holy and altogether righteous. It is right to give you thanks and praise. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
