It’s a blessing to be alive!

I love waking up to you in the morning. Thank you for wrapping me in your love and delivering me into a new day. Your mercy is ready to fall afresh on me and I can’t wait.

Lord, help me to enter into your Sabbath rest today. Teach me how to not chase after my own pleasure but to do what you delight in and honor. Bless me for being obedient to you.

Bless the unemployed and underemployed, dear Father. Grant that they may find and secure work that fulfills them and meets all of their needs. Allow them to be paid fairly for their labor. Give them the energy and capacity to work for you.

I celebrate this day as one that you have made, Lord. You keep everything running and I am thankful. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
