Come, Lord Jesus.

It was hard to wake up this morning. Even now my eyes want to close. But just to be alive is a gift and it spurs me into the day. You are a faithful promise-keeper. Thank You for today.

Give me the energy and focus I need to be fully present and able to apply myself to the task at hand. Let me take on the hard things that I am afraid of. Bless the work of my hands.

Bless those in the path of winter storms and other damaging weather, Father. Take them under Your wing and protect them from all hurt, harm, or danger. Let each of us care for our neighbor.

It is fantastic that You love us unconditionally, Lord. Your grace and mercy fall on us afresh every single day. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
