It’s early Sunday morning. Is this when Jesus got up with all power in his hand? I feel your grace abiding in me. Thank you for the blessing of another day alive in this world.

Help me to concentrate on praising you and giving you glory today. Let me celebrate the resurrection of your son Jesus. Grant that I may spend this day with you.

Bless those who have lost a loved one to tragedy, Lord. Be with them in their grieving and send your Holy Spirit as comfort and consolation. Help them to recover.

You are wonderful and altogether righteous. Help me to learn and obey your precepts. Let me spread your joy and peace in all I do. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
