It’s early and you and I are having our special talk. I love our private conversations before dawn when it feels like I have you all to myself. Thank you for the beautiful day of life that you have blessed me with.

Help me to have a day of true relaxation and rest. Thank you for helping me finish my work so I could have time to take it easy and soak up the joys of life. Grant that my mind, body and spirit may be refreshed and revived.

Bless those that are overworked Lord. Give them relief from their labors. Help them meet their needs while also having a healthier balance of work and rest. Give me opportunities to help lighten their loads.

Every day I give you praise and glory for my life and all the blessings you give. You cause goodness and mercy to follow me all my life. Everything good I owe to you. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
