Are you there God it’s me...

I woke up super early this morning and the world is still asleep. All is silent and still and it’s just you and me. I love these times when it feels like I have you too myself. Thank you for letting me have these moments with you.

Help me to deepen my prayer life with you Lord. Let me seek your counsel in all things first and last, coming before you with all that is in my heart and on my mind. Teach me how to go beyond mere words and pray in full faith and action.

Bless people with bitterness in their hearts from the pains of life dear Lord. Soothe their spirits and grant them peace. Massage away their hurts and fill them with your joy. Transform their countenance and disposition.

What am I that you are mindful of me? I am so proud to be made in your image. Make me more like you each day. All the glory, honor, and power are yours alone. Thank you for hearing me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
