Are you there God it’s me...

I awoke gently this morning to greet a new day. I have a sense of calm and relaxation in my spirit, thanks to you. The day is going to go wonderfully, for you are with me.

Help me to fully relax into your presence today and have a day of replenishing rest. Grant that I may delight in the day and be able to uplift at least one person today in your joy.

Bless those who are overworked Lord. Grant them rest, revival, and restoration. Give them better balance in their life while still meeting their needs. Help me to energize and speak life into those I meet.

The joy of the morning is yours and I delight in it with you God. Teach me how to rejoice in you fully. Every new day is another chance to celebrate you and how you hold the world in your hands. It is Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
