Are you there God it’s me...

It is too early to be up, but here I am, awake while it is still dark outside and the rest of the world is sleeping. But you are here to greet me and give me abundant life. Even when you’re early you are right on time.

I am not sure what the day will hold, but I know it will be good because it is from you. You have plans for my good and not for ill. Help me to make the most of the blessings you provide for me today.

Bless those that are overworked dear God. Give them relief from their labors and restoration for their spirits. Allow them to work in a more balanced way and still provide for their needs.

Even before the sun rises, you are glorious to behold. Plus it feels like it’s just you and me in all of creation. Keep me this close to you always. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
