Thank you for this beautiful day. It is always a blessing to wake up to your handiwork. Your presence in my life is the source of all good things. Let me always appreciate your movement in the world.

Today let me get the hard things done that I have been avoiding. Give me the strength and interest to do what has not been getting done on my to-do lists. Help me to consecrate all I do to you.

Bless the pets in the world dear Lord. You have made them to be faithful companions and I thank you for my cat. Let them be a rich blessing to their caretakers and bring joy and comfort where they go.

It is in your name that I do everything. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you, whatever the task. Allow me to be a blessing to others as you have been to me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
