Are you there God it’s me...

Thank you for this day, one I’ve never seen before and will never see again. It’s amazing that you can make every day different. I can’t wait to uncover what the day holds.

Lord, heal the bitter violent conflicts in the world. Cover fighting and hatred with your unconditional love. You have said blessed are the peacemakers, grant them powerful successes in their work.

Help me to be more consistent and intentional in my time with you oh God. Let my praise and worship of you be more deeply integrated into my daily living, not just reserved for certain times of day or days of the week. Teach me how to pray without ceasing.

Let me love myself and others as you love dear Lord. Teach me the breadth and depth of unconditional love. Show me how to be more loving in my everyday interactions with others, from strangers to family and friends.

Help me to more faithfully dedicate my days and my work to you. Let me embrace your will and discard all that is not consistent with it. Show me how to devote myself wholly to the work you have set before me. Grant that I may rightly discern your will for me and faithfully fulfill it.

Thank you for hearing my prayers. You are always there whenever I lift up my voice. You love me with an every lasting love and I delight in that. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
