Are you there God it’s me...

Even when I’m tired, I can still be grateful for another day. You’ve woken me up and given me another chance to do your will. Bless me and fill my day with things that lift up your name and hold joy for me.

I pray that you grant me energy to face the day before me. Help me to fill my day with activities that are pleasing in your site. Give me the wisdom and strength to complete my work and meet the challenges set before me. Let my work fill me with a sense of accomplishment.

Forgive me my sins, and help me forgive myself as well. Grant me the ability to forgive others. Let me not weigh myself down by holding onto grudges or counting up the offenses against me by others. Remind me that I am sealed by the Holy Spirit and that you can heal any hurt I encounter. Let me forgive freely, as you have forgiven me.

Restore relationships in my life that I thought were beyond repair. Let me be a peacemaker in the affairs of my own life. Breath life into lost friendships and give me ways to be in touch with others in healthy and life-affirming ways. Bless me with the ministries of restoration and reconciliation.

Teach me how to pray, knowing you are always there to answer to desires of my heart. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
