We are getting closer to Christmas and I am filled with excitement and anticipation. Your son, Jesus, makes every good thing possible in my life and I am grateful.

Help me to feel the Advent spirit in the whole of my being today. Let me dwell and abide in you in all that I do. Help me to rely on you and not my own understanding.

Bless those that are lonely, Lord. Raise up good friends and healthy relationships for them. Let them feel your presence and know you are their constant friend.

You are Lord of the day and the night and all they contain, so I need never fear. Thank you in advance for answered prayer. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
