It is a glorious day and you allowed me to sleep in. What more could I want? Thank you for a peaceful and unhurried Saturday morning. You have allowed me to see a new day and I am so grateful.

Let me have a day of energy and enjoyment today. You have blessed me with an eventful day and I pray that you will help me to attend all of my engagements with attentiveness and joy.

Bless those who are hungry or food insecure, Lord. Grant them nourishment with good food and drink that satisfies them. Give them the security of knowing where their next meals are coming from.

As I stretch and wake, I can’t help but be amazed at what an awesome God you are. You have been so faithful to me in all your ways. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
